Friends of the Library - Becoming
a Member
Anyone
can join. Memberships are renewable annually and cost only three dollars.
Forms are avilable in the Library and at the Old Net Shed at the corner
of Bayfield and Collingwood Streets on book sale days. More information
is available from the Executive or one of
the librarians.
"Friends" always need new "Friends". Your annual dues go to support the overhead and administrative costs incurred by The Friends. This is so that we can legitimately assure those who donate funds that ALL of their donations go to support the Library. We invite and encourage all members to become actively involved in our fund-raising activities and other fun events to promote public awareness of the needs of our Library.
Help Wanted: The Friends constitution provides that the executive serve 2 year terms. Presently "The Friends" are asking interested members in good standing, to serve on the executive in the following positions: Vice President, Secretary, Advocacy and members at large.
