Meaford Council's budget hasn't been passed yet, but it's well on it's way. Al White of BDO Dunwoody accounting firm was put in charge of auditing the council. He announced at the meeting council's budget is ready to move forward. He said they're just about on par with many other municipalities. He said their numbers are up to them, but the distribution of funds and compilation of it all adds up. The clerk has drafted the budget bylaw, so it's expected to be passed at the next council meeting.
