Meaford's Memorial Park
~PARK RULES~
In order to make your stay
as pleasant as possible, we ask that you kindly observe the following considerations.
1. REGISTRATION
Please register at the office before you set up.
One family, one picnic table, one vehicle per campsite (maximum 6 people).
Check in time is 2:00 pm
Check out time is 1:00 pm.
2. VISITORS
Must leave the park by 11:00 pm
Must park in the designated areas.
3. SPEED LIMIT
20 k.p.h. maximum
4. QUIET TIME
Is from 11:00 pm until 7:00 am.
Excessive noise or abusive language will not be tolerated at any time.
Courtesy and consideration for all campers must be exercised.
Be a good neighbor.
5. PARK GATES
Park gates are lined with beautiful
flower boxes.
Please watch for pedestrians in this busy area.
6. PETS
Must be on a leash at all times.
Owners are responsible for removal of all excrement.
Designated dog beach area in the NE corner of our beach.
Doggy bags available at dispensers located in the park.
7. ACHOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Confined to registered campsites only.
8. BEACH AREAS
Are open to the public and are not part of the campsites.
9. LENGTH OF STAY
Lower sites (mid June to Labour Day) have a two week
limit at which time camper and occupants must leave the lower camping area
for a period of not less than one full week.
Upper sites have no two week rule, however, nothing is available during
the Civic Holiday Weekend.
10. RESERVATIONS
In lower area a minimum of one week reservations (booked
from Friday to Friday) accepted mid June to Labour Day.
11. CAMPSITES
Must be kept in a clean and tidy condition.
Garbage must be placed in the receptacles provided.
Recycling blue bins are provided on the road out of the park.
Campfires must be inside rings provided and extinguished with water by
1:00 am.
12. ANY PERSON
Vandalizing park property, flowers or trees will be
prosecuted.
13. PARK ATTENDANTS
Have authority to evict any person not obeying park
rules.
Reserve the right not to renew rental agreements.
14. SECURITY
Is provided by park security staff and Police.
