SECTION 4

Entry Fees & Registration: $5.00 Annual Fair Membership plus $3.00 per entry per class. One entry per rider per class. ** Please have 3-part entry form (attached in fair book) filled out prior to registering with Fair Secretary on Fair day. A penalty of $5 will be retained by the Society if show number is not returned to Secretary on Fair day.

Special Notes: ***Please see General Rules for all horse shows***

1. Please see Order of Showing for Saddle Horse Show (Section 4) for ring location, etc.

2. Casual attire is permitted HOWEVER all riders under 18 yrs MUST wear hard hats and footwear with heel for safety. It is strongly recommended that ALL riders including adults wear the above safety equipment at all times for their own protection. While the directors will take precautions to ensure riders safety, the ultimate risk and responsibility lies with the individual rider and/or their respective guardians.

3. Munchkin Division is restricted to riders 10 yrs & under as of Fair day. Munchkin riders may not show in any other classes except the Open Decorated class (Class #1), unless upgrading to another Division (see below). For safety, Munchkins riders are allowed to have an adult assistant in the ring with them at all times.

4. Junior Division is restricted to riders 16 yrs & under as of Fair day. A rider may choose to "upgrade" and show in the next Division up from their regular Division (e.g a Junior rider may choose to "upgrade" and show in the Senior Division. In "upgrading", that person is restricted to that Division for all classes. No cross entries between Divisions is permitted, except for Open Classes (which are open to Munchkin, Junior and Senior riders).

5. All classes can be ridden English or Western.

6. Open Decorated class all riders MUST wear an approved helmet and proper riding boots.
