A brief historical look at Richardson Boats

In 1933, Cliff Richardson founded Richardson Boats. During the winter months, boats were built in Meaford, and the spring, summer and fall were spent at the family marina in Point Au Baril, Ontario.
In 1939, Richardson Boats began full time operation in Meaford building pleasure and commercial watercraft.
In 1941, helping with the war effort, Richardson Boats started building whalers and diesel cutters for the Department Of Defense.
Post war - Pleasure and commercial water crafts constructed of wood, steel and aluminum became the mainstay until the early 1980's.
Present day - Cliff Richardson Boats Ltd. now offers a full service Marina facility including fuel, repairs, pump-outs, and winter storage.
