Special Two Week Tour!

$3318 per person based on double cabin

This tour will take you from the prettiest of all historical Flemish cities, Bruges, to the majesty of La Ville-Lumiere (City of Light), Paris.  The Fleur will cruise the river Schelde through Belgium, passing through Ghent, Oudenaarde and Tournai.  Once in France you will follow the canal of St. Quentin, through the tunnel of Riqueval to the historical city of St. Quentin.  The route continues through the valley of the Somme (battlefield in WWII) to Compiegne, then on to the river Oise where you will arrive at Auvers sur Oise (burial place of Vincent Van Gogh).  Finally the Fleur will cruise the big curves of the Seine, passing through an area with a very rich royal past (Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Marly-le-Roi).  Cruising on into the centre of Paris you will pass the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the musee d’Orsay, the Ile de la Cite and Notre Dame, and finally reach the mooring place near Place de la Bastille.  The Fleur will stay in Paris for the final day, allowing you time to explore, shop, sight-see and enjoy the ambiance of the City of Light.

A couple of new twists this time around: 

- Two guides will be available each day, one for biking and one for barging/touring.  Your choice of what to choose each day.

- You may choose to sail into Paris onboard the Fleur or ride into Paris by bike, starting at St. Germain-en-Laye.  The ride will provide you with an incredible view of Paris and allow you to finish at the Bastille.

Please note this is LAND ONLY.  The tour price includes barge accommodation for 14 nights, three meals per day with soft drinks, guiding fees, bicycle rental, bicycle insurance and transfers to Charles de Gaulle Airport on the final day.  The tour price does not include airfare.
